ITS was formed in the UK in 1983. In the years since our beginning we have developed and expanded our business resources to support our activity in the UK and Europe and have maintained a reputation for quality and excellence for project management related to design, manufacture and installation of Materials Handling Systems.
From our office in Ilkeston, Derbyshire over 80 diverse materials handling
systems have been designed, supplied, and installed since 1984. Most of
these have been full turnkey projects of values in excess of £1
million. Total project management and innovation has proven to be the
key element in their successful implementation. The spare parts centre
is also at this location.
Our systems have been as broadly based as grocery sortation, hanging garment storage and distribution and we have a number of installations within engineering and production applications. Our philosophy is to work with partners and suppliers of proven excellence and bring to the client a solution of guaranteed performance, within budget and timetable.
During recent years we have expanded our portfolio to include advanced order picking hardware, software and products across the range of our customer base that have a high degree of automation. This includes Robotic picking, sorting equipment for a wide range of products and industry and also software and management systems in support of the hardware.
Our objectives are to continue to develop our expertise, the range of services we offer to our clients and most importantly continue to support and work with our customers, most of whom have been with us from our early days and have worked with us to enhance their operation by evolving their systems.
